

Amy Borns, Musical Dance Support visits Oldenburg Academy
To support the spring musical, Amy Borns was hired to help students learn some of the dance moves that the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie required. Amy worked with the dance students on Saturday, January 18 and then the musical took place March 6 and 7. Sixteen girls were involved in the workshop.

IRT actress visits BMS
One of the actresses from the IRT A Christmas Carol play came to visit our
classrooms. She discussed many aspects of the play with our students. She discussed
the different character roles with the kids and also shared pictures of the new costumes
we would see when we went to the play. She shared with us her role in the play and
explained what that meant to the class. Lastly, she had the kids act out a scene from A

Mrs. Raver visits St. Louis schools for a photography workshop
Mrs. Raver came to St. Louis school to give a work shop to the sixth and seventh graders on photography. She gave them examples of good and interesting photographs as opposed to some that could be improved upon. She taught the kids about balance, movement, how to crop pictures and many other great suggestions for taking good photographs. She then had students show her their photographs and told them what was good and where they could make it more interesting. We are hoping


Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park performed at BPS
Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park performed at BPS on Thursday, February 27th. The theatre performance brought to life the classic story from E.B. White's, Stuart Little. The students were engaged and enlightened while watching the lovable mouse take on his adventures in his great, big world.
