Mayra Adams and Laura Ault visit Batesville High School
Laura Ault taught students latin dance moves, and showed some traditional outfits the dancers would wear. Mayra Adams taught in Spanish about the dances, and where they originated. Mayra Adams also helped teach the dance, and aid students who needed help with the moves.


Richard Lin visits Oldenburg Academy
Richard Lin won the 2018 International Violin Contest in Indianapolis. As part of his winnings, he tours the area. Richard Lin met with the entire orchestra as a whole. Then, he worked with just the string players. After that, he performed a concert (which he called an “informance”) and allowed students to ask him questions. Trio of Talent visits Batesville schools
Batesville Intermediate School, Batesville Primary School, and St. Louis Schools hosted a 2-day visit from author Susan Stevens Crummel, author/illustrator Janet Stevens, and author/illustrator Dorothy Donohue. The three women who have collaborated with one another on over a dozen children’s books, many of which are bestsellers and award winners, were at each school together on September 25, 26, & 27, 2019. All students participated in two 45-60 minute programs with sisters


Choreographer Danyel Mann visits Batesville Middle School Choir
Danyel Mann choreographed several songs for the Batesville Middle School musical. Choir students are preparing High School Musical 2 Jr. and she visited the BMS choirs during class and during after school rehearsals in the auditorium. Songs choreographed by Danyel include “Work This Out” and “Fabulous”. You can also come see the tap dance solo and hip hop solo she choreographed Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 3pm in the BHS auditorium!
