

Ja'Shon Burks, choreographed the entire Singers competition set at BHS
Professional choreographer, Ja'Shon Burks, choreographed the entire Singers competition set and visited BHS to teach them the choreography, bows, and blocking over 3 days. The first choreography sessions were October 23 and 24, and Ja'Shon just came back to complete the show Saturday, November 14. Robin McBride visits BIS
Robin McBride Scott is a Native American pottery artist who hosted pottery workshops for all 5th
grade students at BIS. During her workshops, students learned about the art of ancient
indigenous peoples, the importance of pottery in Native American life, and discovered how
archaeologists come to learn about ancient cultures by studying their pottery and other artifacts
they've left behind. Robin guided students in making their own piece of Native American - style

Traveling Exhibits at BMS this week!
In a time of COVID we are bringing the ART to our school for a unique learning experience. This exhibition educates and brightens our school in what can seem like a depressing time.. We are hosting the "Wyland Exhibit" bringing about awareness and activitism through Art. Wyland advocates the beauty and need for saving our Oceans through his spectacular Oceanscape paintings. Our students get to dive into the beauty of our oceans! We also are hosting the "Art Beyond Borders
