Patrick Durkin visits St. Louis schools

Updated: May 22, 2021

Artist Patrick Durkin, visited St. Louis school and gave us Matise Pizza kits that the students used to make their own Matisse like art. The class began with a short video explaining how the artist Henri Matisse did the paper cut outs in his later years, and the students then tried their own hand at making a Matise like collage. They were very interested in creating their work of art and we’re happy to have had the chance to experience this project.
