Integrating art-focused experiences into K-12 classrooms for nearly 2,700 students in all six Batesville area schools.
Education

Arts in Education
The BAAC has provided generous funding for successful arts education programs in the Batesville area schools since 1988. AIE is a dynamic program crafted to enhance the educational journeys of students and teachers in all six Batesville area schools. By introducing a diverse array of professional artists into the classroom, AIE integrates the arts into current curriculum, ensuring that creativity is woven into every aspect of learning. This enhances the education experiences of nearly 2,700 students from PreK through 12th grade. Our mission is to infuse art into all areas of education, helping students recognize from the very beginning that creativity is a vital part of everyday life.

BAAC and Soderberg Scholarship
Established with a generous donation from Peter and Elsa Soderberg in 2008, the BAAC and Soderberg Scholarship is awarded each spring to one graduating Batesville or OA student who will be pursuing an art-related degree. Applications, managed by the Ripley County Community Foundation, open in November and are due in early February. Visit RCCF's website for more information.
