OA Singers work with Professor Steve Rickard

On Monday, April 29, the Oldenburg Academy Singers worked with Professor Steve Rickard. Rickard discussed the importance of breathing techniques and the fundamentals of singing. Rickard also impressed students by showing his own vocal range.

Prof. Steve Rickard teaches voice and music lessons and Marian University. He works with the Bishop Brute Seminarians choir focusing on chant, motets and early Renaissance music. He is also an adjunct professor with the University of Indianapolis and the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington.
