We're looking for visual artists of all levels-- from students to seasoned pros-- to paint storefront windows throughout downtown Batesville, and for business windows to paint! Each artist will be paired with a local business to bring their vision to life!
The business with the winning window display will receive a cash prize to donate to the non-profit of their choice. That means your art can make a double impact-- beautifying our town and supporting another great cause!

Adults in our community now have the chance to build the iconic stained-glass lantern for the first and only time - for the first and only time
This hands-on class will be led by retired IT instructor Wayne Lanning and current IT instructor Jeremy Spencer. You will learn the process step by step and create your own stained-glass lantern.
Class begins at 8:00am at Batesville Middel School and lasts most of the day and will involved the use of hot tools and sharp glass.
Spots are limited and this opportunity will not come around again.

Batesville High School
This beloved production is coming to the Batesville stage in 2026! Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.
The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, Appropriate for all ages, this family-friendly production will be AMAZING for every member of the family.

Join BHS art teachers Kyle Hunteman and Andrea Grimsley to begin your digital drawing journey using Procreate on iPad. Procreate is the #1 drawing app, and this class offers a personalized learning experience whether you are experienced with Procreate or a complete beginner.
Bring your own iPad and Apple Pencil with the app preloaded, or use a provided iPad for the duration of the class.
The class will take place at Batesville High School, last approximately 3 hours, and you will leave with a printed image of your own work.
This is a fun, hands-on opportunity to explore digital art in a supportive, creative environment.
