YOUNG ARTIST SHOWCASE

The Young Artist Showcase is a program that recognizes students in 6th through 12th grade who excel in the areas of art, music, writing, dance and drama. Professional judges are enlisted to judge the entries in each discipline, and trophies and ribbons are awarded to the winners at each school’s end of the year awards program along with the sports and academic awards that are traditionally given by the schools. This program fills a gap in local awards programs, showing students that they can be rewarded for excellence in the arts and creates an incentive for students to achieve excellence.
