Scot Miller visits Oldenburg Academy

On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Oldenburg Academy hosted photo- and videographer Scot Miller in conjunction with Greensburg's Chautauqua event.

Photographer and videographer Scot Miller is a passionate advocate for conservation and seeks to inspire an appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of wild places and open spaces.

From Yosemite National Park in California, to Walden Pond in Massachusetts, for the past 25 years, Scot has used his photography and videography skills to support conservation efforts, and offer encouragement and insight for those wanting to make a difference with their photography and/or videography.

Scot is a frequent contributor to the “Moment in Nature” videos on CBS Sunday Morning. His photo and video collaborations include work with Harvard Museum of Natural History and publication in National Wildlife and Yosemite Magazines.

He spoke about his passion and work in conservation, including his advocacy to help make Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument a part of the National Park Service though his photography and videography work.
