United States Air Force Band of MidAmerica Airlifter Brass

The Rural Alliance for the Arts is pleased to announce the USAF Band of Mid-America’s Airlifter Brass will be performing a free concert at the Batesville Middle School in Batesville, IN on March 13, 2018 at 7:00pm. Join us as we honor our local military veterans with this musical performance. Known for their versatility and outstanding musicianship their performance repertoire spans five centuries, from the glorious antiphonal sounds of the Renaissance to the rich diversity of American musical styles. Whether a military march, jazz standard or an original arrangement of patriotic favorites, each Airlifter Brass program is thoughtfully planned for a blend of inspiration and entertainment. These six gifted players proudly represent the skill and professionalism of the United States Air Force as musical ambassadors before military and civilian audiences throughout the band’s ten-state area of responsibility. This is a free, family friendly event, appropriate for all ages. The musicians will be available before and after the event for a meet and greet with guests.
