AIE welcomes Emiko Kuisel

The Music and Art Class/Dual Credit Fine Arts Class invited Emiko Kuisel to class to demonstrate Japanese Calligraphy to the class. She also involved the students by bringing ink, pens and other materials to class for them to learn how to do Japanese Calligraphy.

At the end of class they all wrote their own version of Merry Christmas in Japanese Calligraphy and there will be a picture showing this also. It was a wonderful demonstration, lecture, and hands on experience for all the students.

Emiko Kuisel is from Japan and lives in Batesville. She teaches Japanese and Calligraphy at the Japanese School in Cincinnati.
