RAA welcomes Chef Wendall Fowler

As a wrap-up to Catholic Schools Week, Oldenburg Academy hosted the Christian rock band The Lasting Hope for an all-school concert on Friday afternoon, February 2.  200 students along with faculty and staff members attended.  This is the first time OA has brought art into religion.  The band was very engaging and accommodating to the study body and even invited students on stage for a mini-dance-off.  They also talked about life choices and being willing to discern what we are called to do....

We are excited to have Dr. Blake Brandes join our students at SLS, BIS & BPS on February 12 & 15, 2018, for a fun and engaging presentation about the Growth Mindset.  Dr. Brandes is a TEDx speaker, America’s Got Talent contestant, and Marshall Scholar who has spoken to more than 100,000 students around the world.  During the presentation, our students will learn how to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams by choosing a Growth Mindset!

The RAA would like to thank the Rising Sun Regional Foundation for a $5000 grant to update promotional and marketing materials. These funds have been utilized to update items for the annual ROCK for the RAA auction. Additionally, banners, advertising display boards, and other promotional materials have been added to the RAA’s inventory helping promote upcoming events to the Batesville community.
